Building Social Skills Amid a Pandemic
February 24th @ 8 PM
Nearly two years into the pandemic, parents are grappling with the monumental impact that Covid-19 has had on our children. Arguably the area hit hardest has been children’s social development. Children practice and nurture their play skills in the elementary years. Some children have been unable to experience these authentic social interactions and hone their interpersonal abilities.
Please join Beth Pearson, consulting psychologist, and Sara Goldshlack, resource specialist, for an engaging parent presentation. We will share details about HDS’ social-emotional curriculum, which teaches strategies and supports to bolster students’ social skills and contribute to their emotional wellbeing.
Everyone is invited to join!
